Philippe Koudjina

(NIGER)

born ca 1940 (Togo) — lives in Niamey (Niger)

Philippe Koudjina photographs Niamey during 1959-1996, in night from club to club in search of clientele. Sometimes he is called as a photographer for a party or a show (Johnny Hallyday, Claude François or Adamo). He always knows to be where the photographer must be (surprising Maria Callas and Pier Paolo Pasolini after tracking for the movie Medea in 1968).
